One is a phenom and the other one is an athlon. I am extremely confused about these. Which one should i get? The athlon has 3 cores but the phenom has only two cores,.???

Plz also consider the price difference between these two.......

I would be a lot happier if you could give a brief info about the gpu and their performance.... as in not the specs but which one is good for gaming.

thnx a zillion :-D

I am a total newbie ..... but in dire need of a new computer under budget .. this one seems to have a graphic card too .......

What will i need to further add to this bundle except the monitor, mouse and cpu to make it into a working computer?

I ACTUALLY HAVE A TOTALLY OUTDATED PC WITHOUT ANY GRAPHIC CARD AND IS AS SLOW AS ANYTHING. I AM NOT PLANNING ON GETTING IT REPLACED BUT A LITTLE UPGRADING WOULDNT HURT. :-d I WANT HELP AS IN U LOOK AT MY COMPS MOTHERBOARD AND TELL ME IF I CAN ADD A GRAPHIC CARD TO IT, TO MY KNOWLEDGE I DONT SEE A GRAPHIC CARD SLOT. THE GPU NEED NOT BE EXTREME. BUT JUST A CHEAP SOLUTION TO RUN SOME GAMES AT LOW OR MEDIUM, SETTINGS. ALSO WOULD I BE ABLE TO USE DDR III RAM HERE? AND WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE OPTIONS TO UPGRADE THE PROCESSOR ?? IF THERE ARE ANY? ROOKIE IN COMP INTERNALS,. THANKY YOU FOR UR HELP IN ADVANCE.

THATS WHAT I COULD DIG OUT FROM THE BELARC ADVISOR. :-d

here are the details of my comp.

I am sorry for startin this topic but although i am an old member of gamespot, i have never really used the forums. I am trying to find the topic where i could post my pc info and people would suggest things that would help me build a new pc by adding some and removing some from my old one. I am totally unaware of the various kinds of motherboards and dun knw which one is compatible with which one. It would be greatly helpful if anyone of you guys could give me the link to the place where i could discuss these...

With Regards,

Diwash
