A lot of those "swing" states aren't swing states at all. Some are solid McCain states. Even some states that CNN has leaning Obama are certainly going to go to McCain, like New Mexico, so he doesn't need to win them all. mysterylobster

I need your definition of a swing state... and why would CNN put them as questionable if they are 'solid' McCain states? seriously...

Being as neutral as i can... I'll admit i'm pulling for Obama. But as realistically as i could... respecting the states that are "leaning" one way to winning that state. Such as Minnesota going to Obama. I came up with:

Obama: 317

McCain: 221

Again... being as neutral as i can here, but I honestly think thats how it'll go down.

At the vice presidential debate, to bolster his assertion he's in touch with the concerns of the middle class, Joe Biden said, "All you have to do is go down Union street with me in Wilmington and go to Katie's Restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time and you ask anybody whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years."

What's funny about this is, Katie's Restaurant has been closed down for nearly 20 years. Not to mention, it was actually on 6th and Scott streets.. not Union Street. Oh, and the old Katie's restaurant is now a "Wings-To-Go".

The people who fill up at his neighborhood gas station can't pay for a full tank of gas, Sen. Biden said. Sen. Biden lives in a 7,000 square foot estate on a four acre lakefront lot in Greenville, which is described as "northern Delaware's priciest area."

Thoughts?

The_Mac_Daddy

Its conservatives like you that make me laugh.

These are the kinds of things that you guys are trying to ride. This guy is only human bud... imagine you are on TV in one of the only times you'll be in the spotlight until you are presiding over the senate. It is entirely possible to make an error in that kind of position. I know I would, Ihave to concede that you can't give much room for error as VP... but seriously?! Something as trivial as this and you are gonna call him a liar?

Do you honestly believe he is gonna lie about the location of a restaurant in Delaware?!

Lets try and be productive with our critisisms please. Next.

I have to say, with NHL 09s recent 9.0 rating by Gamespot and how all the users are raving about it kind of took me by surprise. I seriously half expected NHL 09 to just be "this years NHL game." But obviously this game has brought something new to the table.

So how does a perennial sports series, whatever sport it may be, stand out from all the ones before it? I've got to hand it to these producers. To me, many games of these lineages are just another version of the one before it and that condemns them to just be mediocre, I find myself assuming that Madden 09 will just be Madden 08 with updated rosters. But honestly what can you really expect?

What I'm asking is... how does a producer of one of these sports lines keep improving to keep its fanbase? The point of a sports game is to play through a simulated season as your favorite team isn't it? ... at least thats why I play. I mean don't you eventually run out of "new features" and "improved gameplay" to the point where all you can really do is polish up the menus and update the rosters? Are sports games destined to just be updated rosters and a shiny new interface for the rest of their exsistence?

Any thoughts on this? I'm probably a little hard to follow but I hope you get what I'm trying to point out at least.

Just because it is from the same developer, doesn't mean you can compare the two. They're very different type of games. EnigmaticBeauty

Agreed... I don't really know how you can compare the two other than like the number of sales. which'll be an interesting battle.
