I can see it all now ..... move over mom and dad, I am taking over the Xbox to play games on the TV. You can go back to reading or whatever. LOL No way....I want the Xbox or PS4 to myself to play games. Period.
@lewishim666 and you base your comments on what!!!!!! Do you have proof that people are un employed or broke? You certainly have issues that go far beyond consoles.
@sladakrobot @Doddie spying in any form is an infringement on my rights. When I kknow some company is attempting to monitor every family members movements in the home I will not purchas the item. If you say other items are doing this, This will be looked into, but my family does not have a laptop. I can control use of the PC better.
@sladakrobot @MARYUS1010 not every member of a family is familiar with Xbox nor do they wish to be. Why would one child/adult control the viewing of the entire family. Gamers should be in their own space not the living room (unless they live alone)..
Not all members of the family are computer savy, such as grandparents. Why would anyone purchase an Xbox where it would be the requirement of the children to run the complete entertainment system. I think not Children can play their games in the den or their rooms, wherever, but to control what other family members see won't happen with us.
Isn't MS duplicating what we already have. My TV & PC do everything MS is selling on Xbox . I simply want a gaming console that does not monitor everything I do or don't do. I want to play games in the den and my family the living room to watch the programs they wish to. It seems MS has not take into account alll members of the family. I will not purchase Xbox but will look at PS4 or any company that does not wish to intrude into my privacy.
