As long as you still have your original system and save data that should be no problem. The PS3 doesn't write save data to discs.

I haven't been playing online much recently either. I think it is due to the fact I am working really hard to get acheivments, and they are much easier to get offline than online.

Check that not only the cable is set to HDTV but that the settings for your xbox are also set to the same thing. Also GTA IV doesn't really look that great, try something like the Skate demo to see what it really should look like.

I used to get logged out when I played Ninja Gaidan Black, but that was before NXE so I don't know if they have changed it.

I play the games I really enjoy for acheivments, but if I am playing a game that is not really fun, I will just beat the story and forget the acheivments.

I did borrow all of the old Madden games from a friend so I could sim seasons for acheivments... Sad I know.
