Every species is technically a transition, because essentially it will turn into something else many generations from now (unless it goes extince completely).

As for older transitional fossils, they're everywhere.  Just type in "Transitional Fossils" in wiki and you'll be shown a list of what scientists believe to be transitional species (even though every fossil is technically a transitional fossil).

Pictures of the prophet?  Who gives a ****. 

If someone isn't Muslim, they can draw or look at any picture of him.   I don't care one bit if a muslim is offended by it,non-muslims don't have to adhere to silly beliefs.  

I welcome any picture of Muhammed to be shown, Muslims need to grow some tougher skin and realize that freedom of speech exists, and that the world doesn't revolve around their beliefs.  

Have any of you PS3 fanboys ever thought that these sites/reviewers/journalists aren't really biased, but are actually just laying the cards on the table and telling us how it is? 

The PS3 is a blunder, a mess, and only now starting to warrant a purchase.  There's no grand conspiracy of bias against the PS3, it's just a subpar console, that's it.

MGS4 looking better than Gears?  Gears 1 perhaps, but Gears 2 puts it to shame.

However why compare it to MGS4?  They aren't anything alike.  It's obvious you just PREFER MGS games.

They don't HATE family guy, they just don't like being compared to them. They feel it's nothing but slapstick gags with little relevancy to the plot, or in other words terrible writing.

They also explain that Matt Groening and the writers of other shows actually praised them for saying these things. It's not just them that feel this way.

I do think that there's a valid comparism between Family Guy and South Park in one aspect though. Both shows have fairly often tried to be "edgy" or "push boundaries" for no other reason than that they can. Basically, offensiveness just for the sake of offensiveness.

It's one thing to offend people when you've got something to say. It's one thing to offend people if it's funny. But both shows have delved into the territory where they post offensive stuff and it's supposed to be funny solely because it's offensive.

And that's not smart comedy. That's the equivalent of the guy who draws a frowning face on his nuts, takes a picture with his phone, and then sends you a picture message. And yet he can't for the life of him understand how you didn't find that completely hilarious. 

Of course South Park has been offensive just for the sake of being offensive.  But when they do purposely offend people, it's either in the form of satire and relevant to the plot at hand,   If a fart joke or poop joke is written well into a plot or somehow relevant, It could still be considered good writing regardless if it boils down to a poop joke.  

 For instance in COD4 you can walk with the same speed carrying say a M4 Carbine as you would carrying just a handgun which is odd.. in KZ2 you cant just run around and jump around aimlessly and shoot until you get a kill, it takes skill to be good.

Pachter a joke?  No.  He was obviously wrong about the online numbers, but everything he said about home (including the others) is true.  Home is a diversion from what Sony needed to do.  It's a joke. 

Overall Pachter has been a pretty decent at projections this gen, sales numbers included.
