No, we haven't. The hate has simply moved on to the homosexual community. We are still a terrible prejudice nation.[QUOTE="m0zart"]
Yes, race colors my opinion of his Presidency. Given our history of race relations, it genuinely makes me feel good that we were able to elect an African American President.
I only base my vote on policies though, so that would never factor into my vote (and didn't -- I didn't vote for him after all), but I have to admit that it seems like we've reached a milestone with that. Other than that aspect and his uncanny abilities at public speaking and inspiring confidence, there's not much I like about his Presidency.

First the Native Americans, be we committed mass genocide on them and they nearly became and extinct human race.
It moved on to blacks, they were our new slaves. We brought them over here, so we didn't have to commit genocide on them.
During the 2nd world war, it moved to the Japanese. WE PUT THEM IN CAMPS. Sound familiar? It definitely wasn't as bad, but it still happened. This was against LEGAL RIGHTS.
It has now moved on to the homosexual community mostly, the illegal Mexican immigrants take it also. It's not as easy to spot now because the homosexual community includes whites.
See? Nothing's changed. The hate just moves on.
You need to learn your history.
