If you're buying an ASUS laptop, make sure you get a cooler aswell. A friend of mine had his GPU burn out twice before he got one, and seeing how the one posted here is much more powerful than his, I'd say having a cooler is a must.

Nonsense. Review the temperature readings of whatever you are buying, and decide then. Just because something is more powerful doesn't automatically mean it runs warmer.

Wasn't it already announced that it was coming to PC way back at the first reveal?

Same here, I played the first two on my 360, but I'm not willing to replay them on the PC just so that I can play the third one on my PC.

Just to throw it out there, I believe it's a little bit of a hassle, but I'm pretty sure there's a little "save editor" program you can use for the PC version of ME3, which lets you just punch in all the decisions/character build options from the first two games, and import them to ME3, making the game think it's importing a ME1/2 save. You could pretty much recreate your Shepherd.

pretty sure the save files can be just copied off the hard drive to PC, they are the same format

They're not. I had to run my savefiles through a converter when i had to transfer my save from xbox to PC.

It's pretty good, a few hours into it, and definitely loving it. GMG's selling at 15% off atm, and you can apply the 20% off voucher to that deal as well on their website, so you should get it for about 10/$

Games a bore if you ask me, and the combat is stupidly overrated. Nothings worse than throwing chakrams and then have the entire animation and the chakrams back in your hands because some wolf bit you in the arse.

Not to mention the game has the most atrocious inventory system ever designed.

It's very atmospheric true, but nowhere near being a horror game.

Also wait for a sale either on steam or some other online retailer. Metro 2033 is one of those games that gets handed out for practically (and sometimes litterally) no money at all.
