ME 3 and skyrim will not be out in "the coming months", so Dragon Age 2 for me.

I think they should take the approach of Risen (hardcore RPG anyone?). for woodcutting, axe and saw. for cooking, fire, pot, pan, ladle.

I wouldn't mind a new one as long as they make sure that backwards compatibility is better this time.

Playing the KotORs on the 360 doesn't work as good as itdid on the old system.

I agree with the majority here, play ME1 first. you would miss a huge chunk of the storylineotherwise. ME2 is not simply a sequel, it's the 2nd part of a trilogy.

not exactly, but similar. you can select only one action per selected character at a time. you cannot queue them. but you can (and should) use character scripts for your companions, whichis really easy to do.

Risen 8/10 - hardcore RPG all the way...

RROD (E-74) was pretty nasty, but fixed properly by customer support.

Biggest gripe is that since the update last year the default settings was too high for my samsung HD-ready tv to show and it took a long time with a black screen and some button mashing to get it back to 760p.

in-game? My fallout 3 saves to hang about everytime I get a character into the high twenties.
