I think the most groundbreaking to date is Gears of War. It showed that the 360 has more shooters than just Halo. It looked fantastic, and really revolutionized 3rd person shooters, which before (I think) seemed sloppy. The tighter controls are a model that more games should refer to.

The next big thing, I think, will be Bioshock. It's strange FPS/RPG/Action Adventure/Horror genre splice looks interesting. The sheer amount of things to do and options offered are astounding for something that started out as another FPS.

1. Resident Evil - This is my all-time favorite series. I've got dozens of awesome memories from playing them. There have been some dips in the quality (i.e. Dead Aim) but overall it's kept me entertained. And it has zombies. Zombie movies are my thing, I love them. So when a game has zombies in it, it gets brownie points in my book.

The last 4 have no real order, it's too hard to choose:

2. Halo - Both 1 & 2 were amazing games. The multiplayer is really what helps this series make my list. I get all warm and fuzzy inside whenI think of all the great times my friends andI have had playing all night. Sometimes we had three tvs, three xboxs, and twelve people all hooked up in one house. It's just one of those games, where as soon as you're done with a round, all you want to do is reflect on it and laugh. Good times.

3.Tony Hawk - I've been playing this series for quite a few years. And even though I haven't been steady with it all the time, it has proved to be solid throughout. In fact, I still remember the night I got THUG 1 I stayed up all night playing.

4. Jak - These were incredible back in my PS2 days. It is one of the two regrets I have about buying a 360. Because now I won't get to play any sequels that may be released. It's the same case with the Ratchet series (which is the second regret).

5. Spyro - Not the new ones. Those are just disappointing. Ever since Spyro made the generation jump from PS to PS2 he sucked. But the first three (Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage, and Year of the Dragon) were the greatest platformers on the Playstation. This series, also, has fond childhood memories attached to it.

I would probably be best if you got it at Wal-Mart. Because you can get a cash refund.

And Microsoft offers a full year warranty, so you won't have to worry about any protection plans. They'll fix it for you, or send you a new one. It's about a two week process.

GTA SA got AO and it was released its still in stock at the wherehouse! by as for GTA no way they shouldn't, couldn't, wouldn't after losing all this money to change Manhunt 2.

Did Manhunt sell well? i see a lot of used copies at gamestop...

Yes but SA got that rating after it had already been released to the public. If anyone had known about the "Hot Coffee" mod beforehand, it wouldn't have been released as such.

No it won't be AO. If the ESRB does give it an AO then Rockstar will tweak it until they get down to an M rating. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have all stated that they won't allow AO game to be on their respective consoles.
