1. Resident Evil - This is my all-time favorite series. I've got dozens of awesome memories from playing them. There have been some dips in the quality (i.e. Dead Aim) but overall it's kept me entertained. And it has zombies. Zombie movies are my thing, I love them. So when a game has zombies in it, it gets brownie points in my book.
The last 4 have no real order, it's too hard to choose:
2. Halo - Both 1 & 2 were amazing games. The multiplayer is really what helps this series make my list. I get all warm and fuzzy inside whenI think of all the great times my friends andI have had playing all night. Sometimes we had three tvs, three xboxs, and twelve people all hooked up in one house. It's just one of those games, where as soon as you're done with a round, all you want to do is reflect on it and laugh. Good times.
3.Tony Hawk - I've been playing this series for quite a few years. And even though I haven't been steady with it all the time, it has proved to be solid throughout. In fact, I still remember the night I got THUG 1 I stayed up all night playing.
4. Jak - These were incredible back in my PS2 days. It is one of the two regrets I have about buying a 360. Because now I won't get to play any sequels that may be released. It's the same case with the Ratchet series (which is the second regret).
5. Spyro - Not the new ones. Those are just disappointing. Ever since Spyro made the generation jump from PS to PS2 he sucked. But the first three (Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage, and Year of the Dragon) were the greatest platformers on the Playstation. This series, also, has fond childhood memories attached to it.
