lets see. One of the worst things things I've found in certain games is when you're given a specific task like to pull off a certain string of tricks or finish with an exact move and if you fail you have to start it all over again. Case in point: Naruto Revolution (or something like that) for the Wii, you have to defeat your opponents with a certain finishin move. You can't throw another punch or kick unless their life is gone after that move or else you fail.
Other things like you have to build up some sort of skill bar or whatever and pull off an exact trick, land in some specific area and everything is so specific and needs to be so perfect otherwise you need to re-build your special up again. Those kinds of repetitive challenges I seriously hate.
I just had a look at the Can you RUN it? tool and it gave me a big fat red FAIL sign on my computer's specs to run Portal. And personally, Im not surprised. I've been telling my dad to help me amp it up but he never actually does anything about our graphics card being so out-dated. He upgraded our RAM to just over 2 GB and that was great! It made things run a little faster but it didn't make them run more efficiently. The graphics card I currently own is an ATI Xpress 200 series and that must be a card from like 2000 or something, isn't it? That's 9 years ago. NINE YEARS! So I want your guys' help. After going to the page where there were some recommended drivers to purchase, I'm trying to figure out which of the three on that page I should get. Here's a link:

There's a $109.99 Visiontek Radeon 2400 Pro Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, DVI, VGA, HDTV
$129.99 Visiontek Radeon X1300 SFF Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, DVI, HDTV, Small Form Factor, Video Card
and a $139.99 Visiontek Radeon X1300 Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, DMS-59, HDTV, Video Card
So if you guys could recommend any other graphics cards or one of the three I listed above, I would be incredibly grateful for your help. I just want my computer to be in a condition as good as possible. Thanks!
