As an atheist, I probably would like my partner to share my beliefs. I think it would be hard being together when you disagree on your personal beliefs. I wouldn't rule out the possibilty of being together with a theist though.

I personally like his accent.

Same here. I've always enjoyed listening to people with English accents.

I watched it a couple days ago and found it was a good debate. Thunderf00t could of definitly pushed harder on some subjects but from watching his reflection video on the debate, I sort of understood why he didn't. I also  think it would have been better if they had a set of points they were going to discuss. I don't think they focused enough on some points like evolution, etc. Nevertheless. it was an interesting debate.

Oh, the part about speciation was rather funny.

Congratulations Domatron23 on the new position.

Even though I haven't been here long, I thought btaylor2404 did a good job since I joined. I enjoy this union so I hope it continues to be active. I've got a couple ideas for topics but I need to finalize them in my head first.

I found the link to camp: http://www.camp-quest.org.uk/

and supposely it's based off a camp here in the US.

Here is a response to the articles on the camp which is rather interesting...

What are your thoughts?

Personally, I think a better idea would have been to teach the same things such as scepticism, philosophy, biology, etc., but  just leave any sort of religion or superstition out of it. I just think the invisible unicorn challenge and such is not necessary when trying to accomplish what the camp seems to want to achieve.

I'd certainly recommend the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.MetalGear_Ninty

I'm going to seconded this. I finished it a couple weeks ago and now I'm rereading it. I thought it was rather entertaining and good book.

2. I'd say I'm really close to 1 though but I can't say 100%.

In no way is it a waste of money if you spend the time to practice and learn it. I've been playing drums off and on for a couple years and I'm really glad I am able to play them.

I took lessons for a month or two but I really didn't continue them. I basically learned on my own so I'd say its possible to learn on your own.
