YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first i was like, expansion pack? Adding lame features that should ahve been in the first place, but this is like a new game! I personally cant wait because i love the Vietnam setting (great game soundtrack!) and have been waiting for a game to pull it off decently.

I know =[ Imagine BF2 with better BC2 physics, better destructible environments, larger maps, and JETS. All the games I want seem to never be coming out! Diablo 3, Dead Space 2, and now BF3....Iantheone
BF2 had better physics than BC2 to begin with, why downgrade? And it had huge maps and jets.

[QUOTE="Dark__Link"]

It's not a part of any continent.

It's not part of Australia (the continent), and while it belongs to Oceania, Oceania is not a continent, it's just a region.

CreepingDeath_

This is the correct answer. Don't listen to anyone else.

Wrong, actually. New Zealand is part of Zealandia, a microcontinent nearly half the size of Australia that gradually submerged after breaking away from the Gondwanan supercontinent 25 million years ago. So yes, it is part of a continent or it wouldn't exist if you think about tectonic plates. A full continent no, but a micro continent.

CoH has basebuilding, and relys more on tactics, and using the right units at the right time, You are very limited with the forces you have, so there is not a race to spam as many units as fast as you can. Most units are useful throughout the game (well all are) since they have very very specific roles. They can however be upgraded to have aditional roles (an inf squad may get an anti armor weapon, or assault rifles, to better thier use against armor, or infantry (or both). CoH is very specific in the armor reguards, an inf unit armed with rifles will never really take down a tank, and a tank that is made for AT warfate, will not fare too well against Inf

WiC, does not have basebuilding and works on a reinforcement point scale, so you earn points of sorts, and call in reinforcements, The units there are split between: Anti infantry, anti armor, and anti air, so different units have different things they work against, it is alot less specialiced then Coh, but also more basic.

So CoH is the more complex one, its my favorite one aswell, it looks really good, and sounds fantastic, The tactics make it a really satisfying game, nothing beats luring the enemy into crossfire from mgs.

WiC is alot easier to learn and understand, it might even look better then Coh, but does not sound as good. Despite its simpler gameplay if is fairly fun for a long amount of time, the stone, siccors, paper gameplay is nothing new, but More often the not the game degenerates into "throwingmasses of cheap units at eachother, till one drops" that we see in alot of rts.

If you are looking to buy, then flip a coin, and consider if you like cold war setting or ww2 setting more ;)

Don't listen to this post, its just a COH fanboy who probably never played WiC cause of his description of the roles in the game and the amount of wrong facts. WiC>CoH in terms of needing tactics. WiC is based ENTIRELY on tactics and teamwork, not builds like CoH.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. Do you find that console cameras are a little "smoother" at slow speeds? It seems if I try and move the PC camera slowly it's almost jerky, is this just because it's very precise and senses all the little twitchy movements in my hand?Silent-Assasin7
Yes, also it sounds like your mouse sensitivity is way too high, try turning it down. Unless its already really low.

Analog sticks have an "acceleration" value that slowly speeds up the longer you hold the stick in that direction ... a mouse doesn't have this, it is as fast as you want to move it.

You are just noticing the superior control capability of a mouse vs a controller, stick with it and you will feel like a gimp with a controller shortly (compared to a mouse).

Controlling a game with a mouse is a whole new world of capability, and far more immersive when you learn the movement as you will feel connected to the avatar ... where as with a controller you can never really get that connectedness (in comparison at least).

(oh, and welcome to PC gaming!)

A mouse does have mouse acceleration rofl. If you are into FPS to be competitve you have to disable it.

Edit: to be clear, its the software (OS) That accelerates the mouse, you ahve to go into mouse options to fix it.

Rofl, people don't get their accounts stolen all the time. STOP MAKING FALSE GENERALIZATIONS.
