@dantaris: and an ugly old one at that, seems pretty forced, If they wanted to be "inclusive", introducing character creation is always the best solution, playing an old ugly woman with a man haircut is also a turn off for me, so it was for all my friends. And this is coming from a guy who plays a woman in games whenever theres an option, guess i'm just superficial.. lol

Not a fan of the rogue like genre, but i'm glad to see another high scoring franchise for Sony, might pick this up after price cut.

@mogan: a review its not an "opinion", as the original poster said, a review its an objetive analisis of a product, and Kallie herself admited in the stream, she didn't even bother with most of the game features and activities. She is neither a professional or capable reviewer, and she's proven it several times, not only with cyberpunk. and her skills as a reviewer can be gauged by objetive metrics just as it can be done for any product.

She was not the right person to review a game like this, she gave pokemon shield a high score because the lack of content, and Pokemon sapphire remake a low one because it had "too much water". The fact that she still has Job in the industry is perplexing

Lowering the score of a game because of technical issues it's completely fine, but deducting points because some of its themes offend you or go against ur own narrative of how things "should be" represented its not objetive criticism. Why should a FICTIONAL game represent"cultures" accurately, the whole point of fantasy and fiction is to twist reality and express creativity, inaccurate incorpration of culture is the whole point of fiction....

Sounds like a right score for Dyansty warriors game with a Zelda skin, i know these games are a guilty pleasure for some tho.

@soccer676: A pretty organic mix of both i'd say.

@i_p_daily: yes. it's really THAT good, this game changed the gaming landscape for RPGs, other genres of games also adopted a lot of stuff from it. Having this game with such graphic fidelity is a godsend. The old one didn't age well in the graphics department. sadly.

Also, keep in mind that these game didn't become "mainstream" until Dark soul, a lot of fans of the series didn't have the chance to play Demons
