The Playstation Blog just released info stating that they are already being shipped to retailers. They also have a list of the games already released and upcoming games that allow dualshock.
[QUOTE="Dreadblades24"]No I seriously don't mind. If I call Sony I'll keep it real and tell them that I dropped it and need it repaired. I just want to know how much it will cost me and if I will get the same daxter color back.

i see. well, i cant help ya there. im sure youll get your original psp back if you send it. you can also put in a special request for something like that, if im not mistaken.

either way... if it has dents from BEING DROPPED, either walmart is going to know youre lying, or sony wont until you send it to them. youre gonna have to pay for the repairs here, i hate to say. plus i just went off on someone else for scamming another store.
walmart or not, it would still be stealing. this is the problem with society today. its time you kids start to grow up. fo' REAL.

So when they ask me how did it drop what do I say?
Or should I just go to walmart and say I got it as a gift?
Sony (SCEE at least) tend to be very lax about warranty claims - as long as you don't make a point of saying you dropped it, Sony will generally repair it, no questions asked.
I think the reasoning behind this is that Sony makes a lot more money from licensing companies to produce games for the PSP than from the manufacture of the console itself, and would rather lose a little money to a careless person who drops their PSP than allow market share to be lost to Nintendo (who have a majority share as it is)

I do not have a warrant but I may have my receipt
call the sony place and ask for another one i think it will cost you $90 if you got the receipt and warrant i thinkYoungGun13
Well Yeah it does have dents on the PSP. I don't really mind paying for the repair from Sony as long as if they repair it I get the Silver PSP back and not a black or white one. So my best option is to go to Walmart and say I got it as a gift and the UMD drive doesn't work or should I call Sony and say I messed up the UMD drive and for them to repair it?
If you tell Sony that you dropped it, you will be at the losing end of the bargain, because both sides now very well know that it is your fault. So, they will charge you a hefty price for the repairs, or whatsover, and you have to pay it. I think the second option sounds better. If I were to go back to Sony, I would just tell them that the UMD drive doesnt work. They will usually ask whether or not you have done anything wrong to it. If you answer "Yes", then it would refer to the case I mentioned. So just say "No". They will usually be skeptical, as always, but they have no choice but to give you free repair if you have the warranty card registered.
If there are no significant dents on the PSP surface due to the drop, it would make things less obvious.
Hope it helps.

Yes and also ever since his review of Ratchet Future, a snowball affect has been happening with giving PS games lower than what they deserved and that snowball effect started by Aaron Thomas branched out to Mas Effect and ultimately the infamous review of Kane and Lynch.
Hard to say. I don't think a portable game should be knocked for not matching a console bretheren. It comes damn close and I think it should be rated as a portable game. It's a big deal it can even get that close. It's not necessarily a bad score, but honestly I was expecting more. Will I still love it? Hell YES! :D Still after that Ratchet Future review, I kinda don't give a crap what AThomas says.Chaos_Bladez
c. Unfair and you should check out his infamous Ratchet PS3 review. That was unfair as well.
Do you think Aaron did the right move?
a. Yes, this is a stripped-down reharsal of the PS2 versions and doesn't deserve more than an 8.5.
b. No, portable games aren't meant to be revolutionary and should be rated accordingly.
c. Unfair! Patapon got 9.0! Even more GS bias! Call Jeff!
