@games_are_fun71 @Dreamagus it's not just this DRM thing, it's plenty of things they do as developers. Listen to player's feedback, be present and vocal at game sites, put tons of cool stuff into collector's editions without charging abusively for them, launch free updated editions with extra content, etc.
I'm not wanting to be pessimist or anything, but with the attitudes these guys take, I only see two futures fot CDPR:
1- They'll go bankrupt
2- They'll be bought by some unscrupulous larger developer and will fall to the dark side of the marketing (not that there's a light side of the marketing or anything, but you got it).
I find myself rooting for them to go bankrupt, because this way at least I'll have a good memory of them.
Or, of course, there's an hypotetical third option. in which enough people will eventually grow conscious and evolved enough to appreciate these kind of actions and then financially support CDPR in everything they do, and then they'll become the largest and most badass video game developer in the history of game developers. But that's a distant dream...
I hope the actors charge less for the use of their faces than the artist charges for the well-made and significantly composed concept of a fictional character's face. Otherwise, these identical-to-actor faces are absurd.
