@svaubel Jupp, a 500 GB HDD means that the majority of games have to be stored in the cloud. For how long? Until they release the next Xbox and shut the old one down?
What is it with Microsoft and this all mighty cloud about having to be connected all the time, anytime, everywhere? Some of the best selling games out there are NONE CONNECTED games like Dishonored, The Last of Us, Fallout 3, Fallout Vegas, Tomb Raider. Sure some of them have some poor multiplayer mode, but we dont buy these games for that.
So I buy a bunch of disc based games.... A few years later Microsoft turns the DRM back on, and the discs I paid a shit load of money for becomes useless. No thanks, I rather go for Sony. I need someone I can trust at this point.
You people need to realise that Steam is nothing but a rental service for game licensing, and they may close every game profile whenever they want to do so, just like Microsoft and Sony will close PS3 and Xbox 360 when the online service is no longer profitable. Enjoy it while you can. It might be fine now, but one day all digital will screw you over, each and everyone. When I buy a physical copy today, I can keep that disc forever, along with my console that doesnt require me to be online.
