I don`t care if I have free Internet. I don`t care if digital games are cheaper. I don`t care if my connection is fast. If the game is not physical, its a long term rental, and I dont own it.

Game developers and publishers will keep defending Microsoft. After all, the console was created to benefit the developers and rip off consumers. They charge the same price for digital media, and it provides more money to them than physical media does. I will buy physicial media as long as I can. I refurse to pay for a long term rental.

Good luck 15-20 years from now when you won`t be able to enjoy Xbox One anymore because the cloud has been shut down. They won`t support this system forever, just like you lost every DLC from the first Xbox when they shut that down in 2010.

You can`t listen to assholes like CliffyB and this guy. Digital only means more money in their pocket and less rights for consumers. They are going to keep saying these things whenever you ask them. Almost every game developer will.

Digital is great if you keep the notion of ownership the same as physical products. What Microsoft did wasnt even close.

@Haeravon @Dreamcast86 Digital on PC is a bit different than digital on consoles IMO. Everything isnt controlled by publishers there.

As long as everything on consoles is fully controlled by publishers, a digital future is not a option on consoles.
