@the_big_doggg You are simply retarded, and have no idea what you are talking about. The most restrictive DRM? Steam has a almost unlimited offline mode, and the games are so cheap, they are almost free. Xbox One offered a 24 hour check in without the price model Steam offers.

And omg, the most restrictive DRM... Yeah, right... It`s probably worse than Diablo, Sim City and Star Craft 2`s always online DRM?

If gamers did this with the Xbox 360 you never had to pay for online services.

Xbox One DRM = Like Steam on PC? Get the **** out of here.

First of all, Steam has no 24 hour check in requirement. It has a offline mode. Also, Steam offers great deals all the time. You wanna know why? Because Steam is not a LOCKED SYSTEM. Xbox Live is. Steam is not the only digital distribution system on PC, and that leads to COMPETITION. Xbox Live is a locked system with no competition. Also consoles are not backwards compatible anymore. What happens than? When Microsoft release a new console every game you bought on their DRM system will get shut down.

I have nothing against DRM on PC, but I will never but a console or a console game with DRM. Im pretty sure the next gen after PS4 and Xbox One offers digital downloads only, but then I will go 100% PC.

@dmblum1799 @Dreamcast86 Yeah, I have NO problem with DRM if I get my games for that price. No problem at all. But Xbox Live never offers games that cheap. NEVER. Because its a closed system with no competition from other online stores.

Having a online required console has nothing to do with having a good connection or not. Having to check in every 24 hour and download games digital means that it`s a renting service. You don`t own your games, and you don`t even own your console. In 10 years they would have shut down the entire system, and it doesnt matter if you bought 1 or 10000 games. None of them won`t work, because the license has expired. You can rent your games on Steam if you love DRM. The difference is that games on Steam are VERY cheap, so people love that service, and you dont have to check in every 24 hour.

@Dannerfjord @Dreamcast86 It means that you dont own the game anymore, and that matters to me! Heck, you dont even own the damn console that you paid for. In 10 years they pull the plug, and it becomes a junk box that does nothing. If you love renting games, enjoy your DRM on PC. Atleast the games there have renting price tags.
