@putaspongeon: Ah, so your biggest issue is with graphics/animations? I can understand where you're coming from in that regard. It would be nice to see a character covering their face/head with their arm while running under fire among other things, but for me it doesn't ruin the game. I wouldn't doubt if better animations are missing due to the hardware restrictions of the XB1 in some way. I'd imagine trying to achieve 60 fps @1080p is quite difficult with that console.
As far as game play changes, you can see my post above. They have added several new features along with game modes and weapons.
Nope, though those are bad. I'd be fine with bad animations and graphics if they supported a good game. I enjoyed disgaea 5 despite animations almost being non existent and graphics being rather ps2y with more crisp. I plan on getting quite a few games that aren't technological marvels this year, the problem is the actual quality of the fun and diversity involved. What I was saying is that say you got shot in the legs, maybe you can fall into a laying down position at which point you can roll to safety or something, that's not a matter of animation as much as actual gameplay innovation. There needs to be more diversity in these types of games or it'll never appease gamers like me, just look at the video in the op, I've already gotten kind of bored of the game.
"hardware restrictions", The ps3 and xbox 360 have things like that in certain games, unless your argument is that the xbox one had to reduce content to be able to 60fps 1080p an xbox 360 tier game, then I don't get your argument, at which point I'd point out that you're wrong.
This is more the studios fault and not the fault of the xbox hardware. 60fps 1080p is difficult with technologically impressive games, this game has a simple color pallet and so forth.
Take a look at how the robots fall apart:
That game was universally panned despite being a better game than gears of war 4 looks to be, and it did all that on ps3/xbox 360. The characters werefairly streotypical but that has nothing to do with hardware. Anyway you could shoot the legs out from robots and they'd still crawl for you with no legs, blow off their arms, etc etc. You could either do enough damage to destroy them or just take off their head (if I recall that took them out), but anyway, I'm not saying you should be losing limbs like you're playing neverdead, but you should have stuff like physics to knock you downor something and new stuff when a ps3/xbox 360 which was panned is a better product than your xbox one game on everything but framerate pretty much.
