Resident Evil RPG

Drake BSAA

Concept Art for the hard edged yet chivalrous Drake Townsend, a part of the BSAA North America Branch. This is probably the second time I've drawn Drake again since my first RPG here in GS a little while back. Nonetheless, I'm content with the aesthetic changes that made him seem more mature and experienced. Got to say though, khaki pants? Not that cool in my opinion, don't know what the heck the higher ups of the BSAA were thinking when they thought of that idea.

If you yourself are craving a little bit of Resident Evil Role-playing, or a taste for any survival horror RPG game, our very own World Of Horror Union is hosting plenty of it and we're out looking for fresh blood. From Resident Evil to Left 4 Dead, or even original stories from our own, we're always open for new players.

'Tis the season for some good hunting in Pandora

The gang

Borrowed Borderlands yesterday and have been enjoying the game so far. Literally the perfect equinox between first person shooting and role playing. What it lacks in lore and customization that Dragon Age had makes it up with raw, gory, top notch shooting that's fun all around.

Have yet to go into multiplayer in the game and I've been mostly traversing the wastelands on my own but it doesn't mar the sheer enjoyment of the game.

Mordecai the Hunter

Mordecai is ridiculously bada** by the way. Disregard the fact that he superficially looks like a crossbreed between a mexican luchador and a dominatrix, the man's got mad skills and a bird that you can ignite and launch at enemies. C'mon, a flaming bird coming right at ya'! That's epic right there.

Mordecai and Bloodwig (flaming effect not pictured)

So yeah, bottomline, going to be spending a few hours of my X-mas traversing the savage, Skagg-filled deserts of Pandora. So if my friends are wondering where I am, this should provide a clue or two. And no, crusader, I am not going to be in Redcliffe flirting with Morrigan.

Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition and Other Resident Evil-related nonsense

Exoskeleton Chris

Soon... very, very soon.

And while waiting to get lost in nightmares and desperate escapes, been busy with the WORLD OF HORROR Union. Got myself a new Forum RPG going on and so far, things are looking awesome. Resident Evil: Nocturne going on right now peps, and I took off player limit so anybody can join.

Zombies are busy strangling watchingninja, raf and CF are tackling with an angry mob (which I believe are very scarce in the Resident Evil Universe) and as far as things are going, nobody has died yet! Hopefully someone will, sooner or later

Classics That Never Get Old: Resident Evil 4

The pinnacle of 2005's Survival Horror genre. Resident Evil 4 still remains one of the greatest of titles down the line. It presents non-stop thrills that reel you in to the edge of your seat and doesn't just send chills down your spine, but taunt you enough to want you going back for more.

The game's stunning production values rival those of a movie-like feel (complete with wide screen) and exciting cinematic presentation.

Gameplay is cleverly designed with stunning panache, inspiring the over-the-shoulder camera system that would be looked up to by future games. Accompanied by creative context sensitive actions, instantaneous quick-time reaction events, it all wraps up in a hectically entertaining adventure.

Resident Evil 4 might not have moved the series' plot forward but it has certainly renovated the classic formula with a daring and memorable entry that can never be duplicated.

I'd waste another 3 hours of my life and go see it again.

WATCHMEN was absolutely spectacular. Sure, it had it's minor short comings but nonetheless proved to be everything the book was about, right down to the print. Didn't miss a shred of detail or psyche from each character.

And for those nay-sayers out there claiming that it's an utter disappointment, I think we can all agree that WATCHMEN was still left dignified after that movie. Unlike most comic-to-film or videogame-to-film adaptations nowadays. *cough* Max Payne *cough* *cough* Ghost Rider *cough*

I was mostly in awe concerning Jackie Earle Haley's performance as Rorschach. He pulled it off. Damn crazy nut pulled it off briantitly. Right down to screaming to the top of his voice...

"DOO ITTTTT!!!"

Classics that never get old: Max Payne

Started playing one of most favorite Third-person shooters of all time, yeah, the first Max Payne game.

The impressive graphic novel cutscenes, the slow-motion blurs during hectic gun fights across torn down shady venues in the cold depths of New York, and ofcourse, the unforgettable gritty metaphors Max spews out every random minute.

The sequel was alright for my tastes, a large graphical improvement and shooting is more classy than ever but there was just something about the original that makes it a foot above.

I think it's because there's no romance getting in the way, no wandering sub-plot in the mix, no excess of characters.

And there's no other conspiracy or tragedy down in front of Max's feet other than seeking vengeance for his wife and child's death. It's just Max Payne, guns, mobsters, and a whole lot of adrenaline and ammunition.

Back on TV.com

So yeah, I thought maybe I'd stop by regularly on TV.com again. You know, reminscent of old days with some old people I've met here.

Back when Storm Hawks was still alive.

Anyways, yeah, TV.com... Drew... back. You get the point.

Peace out.
