the player upscales regular dvds right? cuz my friend was saying that it didnt

I'm not sure about the hd component cables, but I do know that using vga cables does upscale movies to your hdtv's resolution. I have a seperate upscaling dvd player anyways, because watching a movie with the the very loud 360 on just ain't worth it. Unless I'm using my stereo which will drown out the noise but my dvd player has hdmi where as I only have the premium 360 and vga cables...

Halo CE was a legend in its own right. You really can't sit there and compare the sequels to the original. There's not much you can change in FPS shooters. Although halo 2's story line sucked, the multiplayer was great because of XBL. I really doubt they can reproduce the single player campaign experience from halo CE, it was one of a kind. I just look at halo 3 as part 2 with better graphics, all new maps, and new gametypes. So where halo CE had me hoping that halo 2 would have just as wonderful single player game, halo3 has me hoping the multiplayer is as good as it was in halo 2. I shouldnt even say single player in halo CE because I played mostly co-op. Halo 2 had me play through the story mode once. In halo CE I could play the campaign over and over again, especially on co-op.

Then ona side note, I still believe halo CE should be rereleased with XBL multiplayer and co-op. I used to have system link parties every monday for halo CE. I still think that halo CE had the best multiplayer. I just loved halo 2's multiplayer because I could play whenever and didn't have to get people over for system link.
