Uhh could you be more specific? What do you mean by "come off low"?BenTheJamin

Sorry, I hope this clarifies. Recently I reinstalled Quake IV in vista 64, installed all the patches. When I last played it I was able to max out the game at 1920x1200. A new patch has been released since I last played the game. Now, when I set the game to the maximum settings it does not make a difference to the quality of the textures. I could have the textures set on the highest settings, but they still appear to be on the lowest setting. No matter what setting I set them on in settings they are always low. There are also in game glitches.

I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem, and if they have found a solution. I looks like this problem only appears on VISTA x64.

Problems running this game. The textures dont come off low, even when set to ultra quality.

I could not fix this problem, so playing it under ubuntu instead.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Anyone know what time it all kicks off? I know it's today some time, just can't find an exact time. Getting tired of checking back to the site:p

Come to think of it, if that was a window it would look sick.

Oh right I thought the screw holes were actually screws holding down the perspex. I would want a window if I was watercooling that box, never know when you may have a leak or something :p

A friend of mine is a manager of an apple store. He tells me that the most expensive card you can currently have is the Quadro FX 5600 Which costs £1700 would wipe the floor with any other card you could throw at it. Is it ture?
