Remember that your case matters, so does ambient temperature also half of the temp tests are done on open cases and remember you've got to 'burn in' the thermal compound (about 200 hours i think)markop2003

I know im a bit overexagerating but im used to very low cpu temps and seeing that the temp usuallywas 25 degrees celsius and then raised to 70 andnow dropped to 35 makes me half:D and half:cry:

I got the Asus Silent Knight 2 now as CPU cooler because the stock cooler reached over 70 degrees celsius, but im kinda dissapointed because my CPU temperature is now 35 degrees celsius idle when it's supposed to bearound 25 degrees celsius. Does anyone know what im doing wrong? I got the Intel 2 Quad Core Q9450 and made the thermal paste equally flat on it before mounting the silent knight.

I got my MB back after requesting for RMA and now my NB is significantly lower but im not sure if it's trustable... the temp dropped from 70 degrees idle to 38 degrees celsius, but isn't it still too high? Could the temp if loaded jump to 70 degrees again if not idle so it will burn some components?

I played the lost vikings with the next gen version of it (norse by norsewest) awesum game.

Loved the Conan demo, but he isn't viking... i thought he was Cimmerian :(
