A name brand suggested above with a approx. 550 to 600 watts should be sufficent.

you said "reinstall" WinXP then you said you had "vista before" have you done a format to clean the hard drive or just stick the WinXP disc in and reinstall??

BTW in my bios i have to use 128mb for my video option as it will not play @ 256 mb and I have fast writes off in my hard drive options.

I play it evey day on full details bro.

my specs:> AMD 3700 San Deigo, 2gb @ 3200 Patriot ram, Nvidia 6800gt,

2 80gb Western Digital hard drives (raid) couple of fans, Also, I clean it all the time which helps tons keeping my rig running tops. 

BTW thats a nice a NICE processor!
