@johndoe696969 Steam downloads your games to your computer. You log in to steam to play your game. Even a spotty internet connection can last a few seconds for the check.

@johndoe696969 Actually all of your music will be stored in the cloud as a license and you can redownload it for free. If someone steals your game disc out of your hand your screwed.

@johndoe696969 @hordaak Its a simple check its not going to kill your bandwidth or monthly caps read in between the lines. Its not an MMO where you are always online.

@hideoPL @hordaak You only have to check in once a day. Even an unstable connection will be able to check in once a day. Your games are stored on your console so once the check is done then you are to free to play your game for the day.

@Zeronz112 @Calibretto09 @allever @LittleSaintGoph All of these questions have been answered look it up. You can share on your local console with as many people as you want on there own profiles. You can take the game to a friends house if you are going to be logging in you have no restriction. If they are logging in on there own console they are granted a used game license for that one time and one time only. Your profile is stored in the cloud and your game licenses are stored in the cloud. Your games will still exist on your console you just need to use Steam like DRM to access it. I have been predominately a console gamer but I have dabbled in PC gaming over the years. I don't defend MS policies but I can understand what they are thinking. I will be buying both consoles eventually.

@freedom01 @Slim_Lyrics the game is installed on your console. Your console does a 24 hr check to see if its legit. All your games will still be there as long as Live is around and I don't see it just all of sudden vanishing.

@whatshannenin @ELR @Sinaki_Myu What I think is interesting is the fact that most people posting on here have access to the internet all of the time and they are complaining on a gaming website. It is very unfortunate that people in other parts of the world might not have access to some of these services but then again they might change there policies in other countries. I love both companies and plan to own both the one and the ps4 in the future. If my internet goes out I don't even turn on my 360 never really did. Name the amount of times that Live had to go down because of maintenance or other issues? Maybe 2 in the entire 8 yrs I have had live.

@whatshannenin @Sinaki_Myu I hope you guys do understand that there will most likely still be DRM on the ps4. Developers can control the game and decide if they want to allow it to be a used game. The only company that will not have DRM restrictions are games made by Sony Entertainment. Look it up. Microsoft has only talked about there own stream lined approach. And to the guy that is raving about the awesome ps3 online what planet are you from? Maintenance, break ins. and thats all on there end.

@Martyr77 @CyDidley PC has been doing DRM for a long time. It was bound to come to consoles eventually.
