Strange you say that, to me was the opposite LA NOIRE was everything I expected MAFIA II to be.I was very disappointed with MAFIA II none of the things that made MAFIA I greate were there (free roam, great story, freedom to approach missions in different ways, etc).

OMG I remember watching the trailer and some interviews back then and there were so much hype around it before launch. Man, I was so looking forward to that game, just to get utterly disappointed :(
