Why would they? They're making a ton of money (~30% cut on all sales) and are as responsible as the devs for this scam! Why is this still up on Steam? Take this sh*t down Valve.

[QUOTE="kozzy1234"][QUOTE="guynamedbilly"] Most of that is bandwagon hating of people who would otherwise have no connection at all to the game, partly because Day Z has so much community support and WarZ is obviously trying to capitalize on that. Steam does allow junk to get released occasionally though, and they always have. Heck, I remember Empire Total War barely worked until a year after release.guynamedbilly
The devs of Empire Total War did not lie on the games store page to get people to buy it.
Features they listed on the stoers page where in the game, cant say the same for The WarZ.
Yes they did. The game didn't function. They didn't advertise that. Many games launch broken or certain features are broken. This isn't much difference. The difference is this one has gotten a lot of attention. Yep you said it well, the features were broken but at the very least they were there. The War Z don't have the key features they listed on the store page implemented broken or not, it's a flat out lie! Just take a look at the menus, there ara a lot of things greyed out so you can't accesse the most basic "features" such as skill trees, private servers, friends interface, etc.You would think Valve cares about the quality of games it passes.ampivaYep, and the sad thing is it's not the first time it happens nor will it be the last. Just to list a few cases of troubled releases on steam: *Breach http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2036764 *Orion: Dino Beatdown http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2920533 *Towns http://steamcommunity.com/app/221020/discussions/0/846939071331801095/ *Raven Squad http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1900937 *Legend of Pegasus http://steamcommunity.com/app/205590/discussions/0/864943478397022831/ The list goes on and on... Valve should really step up their selection process and choose more carefully what they put into their store, they are the one to blame for these debacles.
Yep, just like they've done about TOWNS...I'm sure they will do something about this quickly.
