I don't know whether this is off topic or not, but I have nowhere else to go seeing as many other sites cant help me.

I've been having this problem with my pc's Surround sound system since i bought it, which was about a year and a half ago. it has Realtek HD audio for use with the surround system, and the problem is when im recording something, like using FRAPS to record game videos or using a microphone to record voice, and play the video/sound back, the audio comes out REALLY quiet, like it came straight out of a pocket radio. Here is a link to a video of me playing Doom 3 recorded with FRAPS:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYMAYeNgjnU

you will notice that even on max volume, it still sounds quiet and Radio-like. I don't know what to do. Can anybody help?

I find the lack of mention of Metal Slug Anthology in this topic to be rather pathetic.

alright, please for the love of God, stop this bullsh**.

I personally believe that the Wii is a good console, but to say in some1s face "your opinion is invalid" ihas got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. period. first of all, opinions CAN'T be invalid. its just downright impossible. If the guy wants to believe that the wii sucks, then LET HIM BE THAT WAY. That's why they're called opinions. I just can't help but say something after lurking in this topic for about 6 minutes.

now, on to what I have to say. I think they Wii is a good secondary console. I have a 360 as my primary console, but i play it just as much as the wii. I mostly play Xbox360 games for their challenge and to talk to my friends over XBL. Meanwhile, I use the wii to play classic nintendo games and play mario galaxy and other games. The controller is pretty fun too.

I just hope to God that this game comes out for 360, mostly because that is the only game I really want on the PS3, and I only have a 360 and a Wii, but Im not getting a ps3 anytime soon.

You guys remember the gameboy player on the gamecube right?

Well, would if Nintendo made a DS player or something of the sort for the Wii? it could work, and the controlls would work perfectly.

The analog stick could be the d pad, the L and R buttons could be mapped to the Z and B buttons, and the A,B,X,Y buttons can be mapped to the D pad on the wii.

It almost seems that the Wii was specifically designed for this kinda thing from the very beginning...

Although I would be fine playing with the DS' original graphics on my tv, they could add something to the player, like something that smoothes out the textures. THis could really work, and make games like Mario 64DS look rather amazing. That, and the ability to play it in 480p, although I don't think widescreen would be supported.

I think that there would be a slim chance of them doing this, considering how well the DS is selling. Maybe they'll do it later in the DS' life when its starting to go the way of the GBA.

What do you think?

The way I see it is this:

It wasn't a flop, but rather it was a very "bare-bones" console, meaning, it only had what it needed to even be called a console in the first place, and thats about 10 or 20 excellent games. The rest of the games on the gamecube can go right up Hollywood's ass (if you know what I mean). I think it was also the fact that it didn't play DVDs that sorta threw people off, Considering there were alot of people who bought a ps2 just to play dvds.

But regardless, The Wii is certainly not a flop, and with it's ability to play gamecube games, I think that the Gamecube's spirit lives on.
