I think price depends on what country you are in for one thing... I am in Australia and when you compare the current price of games over here to over seas and how much the $ is at the moment... well lets just say that I have not purchased a game from a store in my own country for the last 6 months. As long as I can import for cheaper and with free shipping in some cases the prices of games are pretty reasonable for me. Another factor that would make a person think games cost to much is the type of person you are and how eager you are to play the newest games. If you love games and love to stay up to date with the newest and most popular titles then the higher prices are not going to bother you as much because you want it NOW! Then there are those who don't want to justify paying full price for a game and have the patience to wait a few months until the price drops by like half the original price. In these cases the prices again won't be to much. Price, value and perception of value is something that is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. If you think it is to much. Don't buy it and wait a bit longer... Personally for me it depends on the game. There are a few that I am going to get right away. For example Uncharted 3. While other games I am happy to just wait until they get stupidly cheap. Either way I win.
