Because more Euro gamers are PS3 fanboys and they hate to see their precious PS3 get owned by Microsoft.XanderZaneEurogamer, the guys that gave MGS4 an 8, or the guys who consistently give the 360 the egde in every graphics comparison they have ever done? How in god's name are they PS3 fanboys?

[QUOTE="nintendo-4life"]I think it was a given that natal wouldn't be perfect for all genres... but that doesn't mean we can't wait and see.... BTW can NATAL do pointing?XanderZaneCan the Sony motion sensor do Voice and Facial recognition? LOL!! Who's to say it can't? It's not like the Natal has some special facial recognition component inside of it. It's a camera. If the software interacts with the EyeToy 2 or whatever in the same way, then why can't it incorporate facial recognition? Everyone is acting like this "Natal" is some kind of weird new mysterious piece of hardware... IT'S A CAMERA! I think this Natal thing is going to totally blow up in a lot of people's faces. All this future of gaming talk is eerily reminiscent of 4D graphics and some other ludicrous Sony claims from the dark days. I have a feeling everyone predicting that Natal will revolutionize gaming as we know it is going to be severely owned. Enough with the "Minority Report" comparisons too, you are playing right into their hands. The potential is there for Natal to be great, I'm just saying don't be surprised if it ends up being a laughingstock or not coming out for years.

Linked. What's with Eurogamer being so sensationalist lately?

[QUOTE="AlexSays"] Who cares about Sony...? I thought we were talking about Nintendo?cheapness1
Oh yeah Nintendo, the company that has been successful for five consecutive generations and whose current home system is the fastest selling in history. Yeah, those guys had better watch themselves.
Exactly Nintendo now has more Mas Market appeal than Sony or Microsoft hence us "hardcore gamers" that waste our time arguing on system wars don't really matter as much anymore.
We'll matter again next gen when Nintendo fails to find another winning formula like the Wii. They will likely be left in the dust in terms of technology, like they have been for three generations (prorietary disc formats, cartridges, horrible online infrastructure, lack of HDD). and without that edge that the motion control gave them, I don't think they will have it easy. They are still miles behind MS and even Sony when it comes to firmware.. I also don't think their current crop of newfound fans are necessarily going to become ardent fanboys and froth at the mouth over the impending release of their next console. If Nintendo tries to again compete on the same level as MS and Sony they will probably lose. They found their niche, they should be the cheap console next gen too. For some reason I just don't see casuals being real brand loyalists. Nintendo needs to pander to their "hardcore" fanbase, their guaranteed sales. This gen might be smooth, but it won't always be so easy. Reggie Fils-Aime has the easiest job in the world right now. Watch him get canned next gen when they realize he is clueless and the Wii was just selling itself.[QUOTE="Tony-Baxter"]Difference is Nintendo has tasted last place, they know what not to do. Sony never learned that lesson. Hmm. I never thought of losing as something you need to learn how to do.Nintendo should be careful cause Sony was #1 just last gen.
