As of now im a proud Xbox 360 and not so proud Nintendo Wii owner :P

However recently i've fallen in love with the PS3 and im absolutely thrilled by its potential and capabilities in the near future. So obviously I would like to pick one up.

Now here's the issue: I want to buy a PS3 no doubt i've already made my mind up on that front, but the question is if its worth purchasing one now?

I understand the console is excellent but with the lack of great titles at the moment as well as its slightly overpriced pricetag, do you PS3 owners recommend me waiting abit longer or shall I purchase one right away and you're sure ill be hooked instantly.

Please I want your honest opinions, not fanboy bias, I greatly despise everything fanboy-related.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have actually watched a video on youtube about scratched discs and the ps3, it seems that the ps3 can play scratched ps2 discs without a problem. I dont know what sony put into that disc bay but they did a damn good job. Obviously the Ps3 is more reliable than the 360...you can expect sony to put out quality products. If someone has the link to the video that would be nice as well
