PC is so much better then consoles. the community is great. counter strike source is still active look at some of the games that consoles have that are dead TF2, UT3, gears 1, skate 1, amped 3, dark sector, some of the 360 games that are dead. most of the dead games are the first games then the sequals but PC gamers still play the first games like counter strike 1.6. people still play that game.

PC gets few worthwhile good games so thew fans stick with ancient games like CS1.6 while consolites are busy playing new games to replace old ones all the time...

The PC community can be great, when the fanboys are left out.

The thing is that consoles get higher profile games and its more fun as wel

True

PC has no type of enthusiastic fanbase or community like consoles do.

Yes it does, they're called Elitists.

PC multiplats just have SLIGHTLY better textures, better AA, and thats about it.

Most of the time they're buggy and aren't optimized nearly as well : (

Crysis looks great, but Hermits act like its a generation above KZ2, RE5, MGS4, GT5, or Uncharted 2.

It is for graphics, but gameplay wise its a step down. Herms' will never admit to this though sadly.

Sure Crysis looks a bit better than those games, as it should considering PC isn't even fixed like consoles are. PCs are constantly upgrading so stop bringing up Crysis in every graphics thread about consoles.

What else can Herms brag about besides graphix? Gameplay? nope

PC isn't in competition with consoles.

It never will untill it becomes as user friendly.

Bebi_vegeta

Just as worst...

Really the hermits are out of controle??? Just look at theses statements and see why.

Says the guy who is in a group called Rtard...

DD will only destroy PC game hard copies since they fail at retail.

Question: Could you dual wield two separate types of weapons in other games before Halo? or did it have to be the same weapon?AAllxxjjnn

There a was a fun glitch in Goldeneye 64 that allowed duel wielding of different weapons. One of my favs was dueling a sniper rifle and a magnum.

Lots of those features were done in many past games, BUT Halo made them popular, made them successful enough for future games to imitate them.

People in opposition to this topic need to understand this.

Are you purposely ignoring the fact that they shaft you with the greatly reduced price on the software just a month or two later?

Wow you're too far gone in fanboyism to save.

BumFluff122

And they are shafting you by offerign weekend sales of 50% off anf about 60% off the console versions cost. Man why does anyone even use Steam if they can buy the games for 100% more elsewhere? Sure confuses me.

Does no one read posts? You get shafted for buying Steam games at launch.

Think people, Think!

So Valve is shafting you by giving you cheaper games?

do you even think about what you post before you write it? I swear they need to give out IQ tests before they allow people on the internet.

your still paying the same initial price whether or not they have a sale or not!!!

its like talking to a 5 year old. Im gonna need to condense some of these quotes to turn them into a new sig.

$50 = $5 ???

Also DD was supposed to offer much cheaper prices from the start, sense you don't actually get anything physical...

Point and click/dungeon crawler/grind fest RPG's are plentiful on the PC.

If you want a more refined one however, well don't hold your breath...

AdrianWerner

Do by "refined" you mean dumbed down and without roleplaying? ;)

I mean with an interesting story, characters, and gameplay.

When the last PC RPG had anymore than just grinding?

For PC, at least stick with MMO's for socializing with people..
