@Eggs-Benedict Is it her Australian accent maybe? I find it cute. I find most of their shows and presentation styles more or less the same. It's only Danny who really puts a ton of effort and passion into his work; and that's why for me personally, EFMS is the best show on GameSpot. That and anything else Danny does, really. That said, kudos to the rest of the team for their hard work and effort.
@MrHatnClogs Okay, so you've circumvented their system, congrats. But didn't you consider that writing that and bragging about it will surely make them find and close those loopholes?
@Fitcherman @Toadamus Yeah, people should stop complaining about Call of Duty. That counts for me too. The best way to show your dislike for them is to not buy them and simply forget about them, which I do up until articles like these show up. Still, it's better than despising it. The last CoD I bought was World at War.
Okay, so this may be the most milked franchise of all time after sports games and Mario, and personally I don't invest my money in any franchise that gets milked; but that being said, wouldn't you be doing the same thing if you were in their shoes? By that, I mean churning out sequels like there's no tomorrow.
Look at it this way. You have a brilliant idea/franchise/IP and a successful formula that'll guarantee you quick, easy money--what's stopping you from taking full advantage of it? If you can make a ton of money in a cost-effective way without the need to take risks and stray too far from the formula, then why the hell not?
Now I don't like milking at all, but what I'm just trying to say is that CoD, AC, Mario, etc. getting milked makes a lot of sense. And that all or most of us would do the same if we had the opportunity. I mean, why not?
@Annonith No reason for sarcasm. He just doesn't want people to have the wrong idea of it after the debacle of the Xbox One. The 360 and PS3 are similar, so some people might think the PS4 is just like the Xbox One, which to me during the event, didn't really seem like a video game console overall. The video game part felt like an extra add-on--kind of like creating a Blu-ray player that plays video games.
@Darth_Kane Well, I think it was just the next natural step in gaming evolution. I don't think they'd want people to feel it's just a much more powerful PS3. So I think that's why they want to add more functionality.
