@fredyellowone Um, because users from France can still sign up on GameSpot America, UK, Asia and Australia? I think it would just be too much work to create a French site. That would also mean hiring French-speaking journalists and overall the investment wouldn't seem worthwhile. I don't know how many users they could attract, but I'll assume not enough to justify the cost of creating a French site. Besides, francophones can understand English to a degree, so it's not really worth it.
@2bitSmOkEy @Emerald_Scott What's wrong with wanting to buy it when it's cheap? I don't have a lot of money, you know? I don't buy games at $60 but I always buy them new. So how is that not supporting them?
I wonder if the PS4 version will be more expensive. I'm absolutely convinced that both current-gen and next-gen games just can't cost the same. I mean, won't development costs for next-gen games rise like they did before?
So what if someone wants to give away their 360 as present to someone else while still wanting to keep some of their 360 or XLA games? They should've thought about that.
Do you think all these controversial business practices and directions in the gaming industry could lead to another video game crash? And what could be the ramifications if that indeed happened? I'm curious. Can this happen, do you think? What are your opinions?
Mm, what's next? Microsoft confirms that through fingerprint identification technology, a controller is tied to an individual user preventing sharing. And if your brother or sister wants to use your controller, they will have to pay a fee or buy their own. Mm, lemme not give them ideas.
