I use a fan... It's sort of a computer fan that plugs to normal 110 electricity I got in a hardware store. I put it in the back of the 360 so it helps suck hot air out... works like a charm and I haven't got a single freeze since december 06.gp19

Nice hearing this, thanks

I had 2 of my 360's fail on me and I have to admit, they were in small, tight places. I've heard that placing a fan near it and, obviously, placing it in a ventilated place would help decreasing the freezing and overheating I encountered, but I'm not sure where exactly the fan is supposed to be placed. Would it be in front of an area where the air comes in, basically blowing fresh air in it, or behind it, not in front of where the hot air gets out, to disperse the heat a bit. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

About the hard drive, when you send in your system to microsoft you get to keep your hard drive. You can just plug the harddrive into a new system and its all there

HIM42

You can keep the hard drive while your 360 is in repairs

Ok so basically I'd just have to switch resolutions before playing a game?

Hello, I've recently bought a 360 Elite and i'm starting to save for an 1080p capable HDTV and I was wondering, since most of the 360's games are 720p and/or 1080i native, can HDMI output those resolutions or only 1080p?

Thanks in advance

Did Toys 'r Us have an exclusive deal or something? Or did they just break the street date? -Samael-

IMO, they simply broke the street date, but I can't confirm that at 100% though.
