Alex Kidd in Shinobi World
Take away the novelty of Alex Kidd being thrown in Shinobi's environments, and you end up with an average adventure.

Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
By creating this game, Sega destroyed whatever chances Alex Kidd had to become a great franchise.
