I'm most likely getting a PS3 in a couple days. Been putting it off for a while, have some questions really.

Are the PS3 slims backwards compatible? If not do they have PS1 games on PSN to purchase?

I'm for sure getting Metal Gear 4, Demon's Souls, and maybe Heavy Rain. What are some other games I should look out for?

Any other things I should know or look out for? Accessories, or what ever.

Any other info would be nice.

Keep it plugged in. Taking it in and out of the socket will eventually do damage to the socket and plug. People will say "o but it uses power even when it's off!" But in reality it is going to cost you about 1 cent a day to keep it plugged in.limpbizkit818

Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it didn't happen to me. So, you can't just go around saying no, it didn't happened because you weren't here.

Well, in the subtitles she said a couple of days, but when she spoke it said a few hours.

I hope some of the F'ups in subtitles and voice acting isn't in the final game, or other F'ups, like talking to someone then you magically teleport somewhere else. And with the subtitles and voice acting, they say 2 different things, Orruk says he wants 5 mushrooms, but the subtitles and the mission is for 6. Lyrca say you've been asleep for a couple of hours but the subtitles says for a few days. Hope its just in the demo, it seems pretty decent game.

All excellent choices, I would say you can't go wrong. I selected other, Trent Reznor, he has excellent instrumentals and I think his style would fit the world of Mass Effect.

I don't care about what characters are going to be in the next one, I just want better controls.
