I care more about Jeezy's new album than I do Nas's.

I actually was kinda interested in the new Nas album for the first time in quite a few Nas releases, but the fact that Will.I.Am and Stortch are all over the record kinda kills it for me.

Im not so stoked about there being no Rakim, but I really do feel premo is essential to a Nas album to make it a classic. If this was to be anything remotely similar to illmatic, it needed premo. Granted, another illmatic was always highly unlikely.

if the greatness of a nas album, or any artist for that matter, depends that much on one producer to make it great....then nas or any artist can't have much talent. Of course a producer can do great things for an album, but saying an artist can not have another classic album without that producer, cannot be a good thing for either side.

Truth those words speak.

I couldn't find it either. It wasn't on display where they usually have the week's newest cds. I had to go dig it out of the Rap section, where there were only 3 copies. Maybe they didn't expect a big rush for it so they kept the release somewhat low-key?

how, the hell, does someone make 17.5k posts, and be level 13 (OT)
