Hmm. I wonder what's gonna make me pick up Black Ops or the so far disappointing Goldeneye over Conduit 2?psychobrew
But here's the problem.. it can have as many new features as ever, but the core mechanics of the game are the same. And unfortunately, the core mechanics of the first Conduit were pretty bad compared to other FPS on the market, so expanding that rather than changing them isn't going to do much justice.
Have you played both Call of Duty and The Conduit? Would you like to explain what makes it the better FPS experience? Because I don't see much at all.
Please explain what you mean by core mechanics.
CoD:WaW single player was great.....in the begining. CoD:MWR single player was meh all the way through. Both had decent online though.
Core mechanics as in how the game plays in general.. I dunno, I just found Conduit to be slow paced, sluggish and frustrating. I can play CoD online for hours on end - there's just so much variety and different playstyIe options, whereas in Conduit I felt I was doing the same thing over and over and it became very stale after a few matches.
But I'm glad to know Conduit 2 is using the custom cIass system so you can choose your weapons/perks, so that's one major issue fixed.
