Yea i would get it, it's really starting to get better on the lines of online and the PS store, Resistance and Motorstorm are must haves and they are both great online.
I didnt end up getting my PS3 untill January and i got it at a circuit city after being insulted at eb games. But i sped home and played resistance for a good 4 hours
