I haven't touched mine yet, but I can't wait. The over-the-shoulder camera looks really nice along with the tactical-cover sytem. That might be a reason or two people enjoy playing it.

Being good is a matter of opinion. Personally I'm really enjoying it and I'm only an hour or two into the game so far. If you enjoy the RPG genre you will probably find something to like in Mass Effect.

I would presonally rent something you probably wont end up buying. If you aren't planning on buying any of the three, I would rent the one that I wasn't too sure about actually wanting to play. It's only a rental, so try something new out for a change. You never know what you may find.

I rented this game yesterday and I'm actually enjoying it so far. Yes I'll admit, there are some technical issues, the story isn't the best thing ever, the controls can sometime feel a bit out of place, but that is GameSpot's opinion. I'll be discussing it a little more in my blog next week when I have finished it off and can go into more detail about it.

I just picked this game up with the purchase of my 360. I'm only an hour or two into the game, but I'm really enjoying it. I can't wait to see this so called "epic" ending.

Once again Eazye people trust the score, ahh, iff we are in compition and someone give you an 8, and me a 7, would you not trust the judge?GabrialTehall

I most definitately would trust the judge. However, who gives GameSpot the judge status?

The thing with reviewing games nowadays is that so much seen in a video game created in this day and age has been done so many times before. Sure, some games do it better than others, but that doesn't deny the fact that hasn't all ready been seen. People rely too much on numbers for a video game. I believe the topic creator mentioned how the 7.5 was a disrespectful score. Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to GameSpot, a 7.5 is a good. So there you have it, GameSpot also thinks that Lost Odyssey is a good game.

I have yet to play Lost Odyssey as my local video game rental store didn't have it in stock but I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. I hope that day comes soon.

Since I just got a 360, most games I will be playing will be old, however I still rent the newest and hottest games so I can discuss it in my blog and so I have something to talk about with other users on the forums.

It's all about profit. Developers these days will do whatever it takes to make money. There is a very small percentage of hardcore gamers compared to those who just want to play for half an hour and then take a break. Yes, it sucks. I know.

I just bought mine recently so my answer to you is yes, you should buy it. It doesn't matter whether the Xbox 360 is refurbished, new, used, or not working, buy it.

And for games, checking the recommendation sticky. The first six games I purchased were Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, and Rock Band.
