basically upnp is a standard that was created to basically do automatic port forwarding so you wouldnt have to go in your router settings to forward ports so your games arent blocked by your routers firewall

i know how to forward ports but this upnp is suppose to bypass that for you and if it is now working i dont what the hell the problem is.

hey i dont work with d link routers, only 2wire and they dont have upnp on our routers

if upnp is unavailbe, would it effect the media server feature because it works on my ps3 which is verry sweet

i had the dlink 615 and the upnp was available but that router kept disconntion from the internet so i got the 625 and the internet is great and works its just now the upnp is not available and i know that can cause problems later on in the future
