Maybe they got sick of pumping out nothing but Halo? I cannot really comment on the reasoning of Bungie leaving Microsoft, something I'm sure was described in articles somewhere when the event occurred.

At the end of the day, this is you constantly diverting the subject of the discussion. It seems whenever one of your points get disproved, rather than recognise that; you automatically jump onto another argument. Bungie continued to make Halo's for 360 because that is the only way they could continue to milk the franchise, because of Microsoft ownership. That's the answer to your previous question. That you are now delving even deeper as to why they chose to continue making a proven cash generator, as opposed to starting from scratch on some other IP on their own, is just further tunneling to avoid the overall point of my argument.

You're essentially trying to find examples of independant developer decisions to remain console exclusive, regardless of a lack of 1st party involement. But there are a varity of these, you don't have to focus on big name developers to find someone who chose to remain exclusive to a given console. As cross platform orientated as this generation is, there are exceptions.

But the existence of these does not disprove the point, that the overwhelming majority of popular big budget titles that are exclusive to consoles, only exist in that form because of 1st party ownership and/or funding.

Halo 4 and GTAV will be coming next year for the 360 so that means if the rumors are true,the xbox 3 wont have the new halo or GTA,which will result in everybody keeping their 360s and not buying a xbox 3.
