the only reasons i think of why you shouldn't get it are as follows:

1. you play on a lower resolution (in which case go look at the HD 3870 or HD 3850, they're cheaper)

2. you don't have a PCI express slot in your case/mobo

3. you'd have to upgrade more than your PSU

4. You don't Game

5. your terribly afraid of spider-monkeys.....

but other than that the GT is your best bet....

i'm f*****g furious cos i can't get my hands on 8800 GT :evil: any retailer ain't even having a clue when they get more of those babies. i don't even care what manufacturer's card it is anymore. i just want to get it.

i have crysis waiting to be played, but i only need a decent card to play it with... little off topic, but i just had to express my self...

i don't have the 245BW,i actually have the 226BW, but it works like a charm. before you buy go to your local circut city to check it out, make sure you have a look at it with your eyes before you run off and buy something....

but yea, i choosed the 226BW because i like the look of it better, but pretty much all of the newer samsungs are pretty badass anyway you slice it....

[QUOTE="EternalMax"]

well to tell you the truth i don't know jack about Ati....i wasn't bashing.. im acuttualy pretty indifferent towards both nvidia and ati.

the only reason i reccomend the GT is because i know more about it and i feel more comfotable reccomending it.

Shegevara

if you feel more comfortable recommending 300$ card over 250$ card, because it is better in games by few frames per second go for it. It tells alot about your intelligence.

lol wow man..... i'm stupid cuz i reccomend something that worked well for me?

sounds like another internet tough-guy to me....

well it's a tad frustrating that you have to get it at a store...it'd help if you could order it from like dell or hp, where you can customize it a little....
