Hiya , well does anyone have this Firewall/Antivirus on thier PC's? I'm wondering if its a resource hog like some others. I'm also curious about its performance.

Thanks a bunch!

The latest BIOS should contain all the previous updates as well, so just getting the latest one will be fine.RayvinAzn

Thanks!

Hello all , well my GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L is on the way and after searching thier website thier are a lot of updates. Question is do I need to do each one or will last update carry all the others in it as well?

For instance , looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade it to use my new E8400 but also thier are seperate updates for OC'ing and such.

Thanks!

Nope. I just ordered that exact same motherboard (also from Newegg) and an E8400 from NCIXUS.com. You'll need to update your BIOS before it's compatible. I bought a cheap Celeron 420 from Newegg ($44 I think?) that I'll use to flash the BIOS and then sell on ebay. It might not be the cheapest route, but it's better than nothing. Alternatively, you could see if a local PC store will flash the BIOS for you.BlueBirdTS

Ok , If what you say is accurate , here is my problem. I am new at this and its my first time. I don't know how to flash a BIOS. Is it just a simple download or something?

I think I bit off more then I can chew on this one , lol.

Hiya's guys Hopefully someone can help me out here. Will the E8400 work with this board out of the box? Seems to be some conflicting info around. I have both ordered and on thier way , since i know the board supports it if I just put it in the board I don't want to damage anything if some update is needed first.

Also , if it will not what is the best route to take?
