Ah ok yeah i've run into the 64 bit issue as well every now and then, i dont have the 32 bit, but im told that one runs whatever. 64 bit apparently doesnt play nice with some other things because a 64 bit os didnt exist.
Either post what hardware is in your computer or ask your brother if it was a genuine copy of windows 7. Windows 7 is solid as a rock and will run just about anything you throw at it better than any version of windows before it. Its either that your copy of windows is a cracked version or your hardware is not playing nice with eachother. Post your hardware and see if you can figure out if your windows is genuine.
Having owned a PC since windows 3.11 I can see where the hate comes from, but I just really don't get it. Windows has always been like a sports car to me, if you take care of it it will take care of you. If you beat on it and let it fall apart, it will be a vicious **** Its not an automatic slushbox like the mac os is, which runs one way and is idiot proof. Windows just needs a little love. Windows 7 is fantastic, and i've slowly been converting the mac faithful to seeing that windows is not this clunky virus crash ridden monster that steve jobs would like everyone to believe that it is. Notice how all the attack ads are gone since windows 7 came out? Yeah, thats cause people saw through the **** finally.
I would be exceedingly pissed off. Valve has delayed any announcements of any kind for Half Life Episode 3. By this point they should just start working on Half Life 3. If they make another left 4 dead before another half life story they will piss far more people off than they will please.

The interest has to be fairly high considering the pre orders are sold out already. Dammit, I was waiting to see if I could get a discount at my store but the manager had no idea if we were getting them and then when I checked today on the razerzone they were gone.
Invisible War was an oversimplified pile of garbage, I'm sorry, the levels were smaller, the skill system died, the interface was shoehorned in from the xbox, the story was good yes, and the graphics improved, but that is all it had going for it. It got consolized in the worst way, thankfully the team behind Human Revolution has echoed this sentiment and is using the original as the guideline.
