Ugh, Sony's console designs have been a tad bit questionable lately. PS2 was a pain in the ass to program for, and PS3 is even more so. I hope the next PS won't be based around Cell completely, or even worse, around Wii. And a very strange comment at this stage when we have no knowledge of next gen consoles, are they perhaps looking at Sony for some "support".

don't believe what some developers keep spitting out, yes the hardware is DIFFIRENT, it isn't TOO complicated and wouldn't be to skilled devs like crytek, just look at what the PS3 is pulling off, and what the PS2 did..considering how old the console is.

Crytek are pretty much interested in the new tech, like cell...not the typical PC artictecture (how ever u spell that).

as for it being strange at this point of time, why? we all know the PS4 will be a beast hardware-wise. Sony has a some pretty sick dev tools out there for the PS3, and no doubt they will work much more better with the PS4 in terms of friendlier hardware.

thats MS's treatment, knowing its a good game they will no doubt push it like they did halo, Many like gears now and Halo has become the old dog since its been around for awhile, Gears has pushed the fun factor further. if Bungie want to recapture that candle again, they will need to update and improve on the halo gameplay formula.

still, Halo has a better story...and both are different games. in terms of maketing and all that, yeh its the same really.

The thing is, K2 should look better and it does, the budget for the title and overall years spent on it, definetly shows.

Both look good imo. But I just think killzone 2 gameplay looks boring. I mean you hear all these explosions and gunfire but nothing effects you. He's just running around shooting enemies without a problem. elmafia

and explain which FPS has this effection? do you expect to be blown up every few mintutes and shot to death or something? because that wouldn't be fun. let wait and see how the final game plays.

Anyone can see K2 looks more realistic and more impressive, visually. It just that haters of the game or gears lovers will pick gears, no matter what, because they prefer that game.

second, he uses multiplayer pics to determine K2's actual textures.

3rd, he doesn't understand that EVERY game has bad textures he and there, thats the price of consoles and there fixed hardware.
