Thats odd I never seen that before, but to answer your question you need HDMI, or HD-VGA cables, I have a Sony SXRD 1080p(2007) in my living room and it doesnt give a 1080p signal through component cables.

my previous topic got locked for some odd reason. Dont know y lol. anyways heres the info again:

when i looked at the 360, I saw quite a bit of rpgs that caught my eye (ex tales of vesperia, infinite undiscovery etc). This may seem odd considering most ppl that buy a 360 are more interested in games like gears and halo. But 360 also has RPG's. and as a hardcore RPG fan, those are the games i want to play lol.

So before i decide anyhting i need some information.

RROD: One of the main things that has been keeping me from getting a 360 for awhile now. Has the problems been fixed or are they any better?? Is the elite version more RROD proff then the Pro?

Also i plan on keeping multiplat games on PS3 due to the fact that i already have a solid library for them, and dont want to pay for online play. needless to say i dont plan on subscribing to xbox live lol.(i apologize if this unintentionally starts a flame war)

now knowing that i am trying to avoid RROD and that i plan on using 360 for exclusive titles only, Should i go with the pro version or the elite??

You could always use the free one month trial of Xbox Live that comes the console, that way you get and idea of how it works :D

Like I said before did you try reseting your router because the xbox support are gonna ask you to do the same, so I would do it before calling them.

I already passed that step, now I am at the part where they Test the Media connection and it stops at IP Address and says Failed, thought the information should be right by what you guys are telling me. What could be wrong?funkymonkey4710

You said that you used a flash drive to share the settings with your 360. Well from my expierience with that adapter, I've only used it once and my cousin came to my house and connected to my 360 typed in the WEP key and signed in. Hmmm why dont you try unpluging your router, basically restart your connection, disconect your wifi adapter too, and try signing in again if the problem persists then idk what else to suggest but to call 1-800-my-xbox and tell them about your problem they will most likely help you figure it out.;)
