[QUOTE="groovetuber"][QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"][QUOTE="groovetuber"][QUOTE="Jonthin"]well i probly could have gone thrue the game without using my guid, but I got it for christmas and figured i better not let it go to waste. I did only use it once or twice though. It is a great game and im just starting on round 2 of the game, i beat it once but i played Ganondorf, the last Boss, like 10 times and beat him everytime, hes realy fun to beat. Also OOT is available to buy on the VC just in case ya didn't know.SmashBrosLegend

Yes, I did know that. Actually I have a question about that. I've been doing some research on the VC Games and I am confused about the saving process. Is it true you can't save N64 Games? If that's the case, it'd be pointless to buy OOT. I'd have to get the gamecube version then.

You can save Nintendo 64 games.

The only issues I've ever heard about regarding saving is the save state feature with Neo Geo games.

So it's an actual save, not suspending game play?

You can do both.

Last time I checked, Star Fox 64 lacked a suspended save feature. Not sure if it's a property of any other N64 games.

Nope. TP was a relatively easy, though very enjoyable, game. Then again, I loved LoZ2 and the second quest in LoZ for how hard they were compared to most other games (the playable ones, I mean. Not the crappy un-controlable ones).

Currently, I'm using a 13 inch CRT television. But I'm buying a new 26 inch LCD television (forced to buy HD, since you can't find an LCD w/o it these days) for the World Series. So that's going to be my new gaming television.

[QUOTE="briguyb13"]It's not complicated and has a tutorial to start you out, the gameplay is relatively simple but the strategy can knock you on your ass if you don't think things through. akai_reaver

Yep. A false mistake can be your character's life.

And once he/she is dead. They're dead.

One of my favorite aspects of the series. None of that weak "faint at 0 hp and can be revived with a feather" junk. Dead means dead. Makes you plan things out and (if you actually end up killing of a character) makes the game harder if you have to bring in weaker or lesser experienced units.

[QUOTE="yakk_3"]I'm a little surprised they gave BWii such a low mark. I wonder what Duckman thinks of this...Duckman5

Already seen it on IGN, already saying that these reviews are crap. FE a 9.5? No way.

Totally possible. If they improved upon FE9 only slightly to make FE10 (and I've already seen evidence to support this), it's reaching close to perfect IMO. Only a broken character set or flimsy story could ruin this game for me. Or maybe just the flimsy story, as a weak main party just makes for a better challenge. FE is the tactical RPG series right now, and I haven't seen anything even approach its glory.

I would only consider another MMO on one of Nintendo's consoles, and that's because it's pretty much the only way they would keep it free. MMOs eat up so much time, paying a monthly fee on top of that is out of the question.

PS: Go Sox!

I'll second that

they said it woulnt have a ranking system :(

i dont want a ranking system. people are less likely to drop out knowing it wont count if they lose

I actually love not having a ranking system.

I second that emotion. No public ranking system is actually a plus in my book.

Guitar Hero III is going to own both of them.benthepoet

Still not sold on GH3's track-list, so I'm inclined to disagree.

As for the actual topic: I'm looking forward to both games, but expect to enjoy BWii more.

Hahaha no. Not worth my money to buy a compilation of crappy games. I have an Atari 2600 plug-in system if I want to play a compilation set, and at least those games are playable.

If you can look past the blurry graphics, it's not a horrible game. The worst downfalls of the game and story are the lack of back story and the fact that it's a short game. It plays pretty well. Though I've heard of some people who have experienced problems with control scheme, I myself never had any of such problems. But maybe it's just because I'm that good :P

All in all, yeah, it's not a bad pickup for $18. I've played through it a few times now, and I can honestly say there are worse games out there.
