lol.... Kojima did say MGS 3 was his last MGS game. I think he meant that he will not be involved in making MGS4 however, by popular demands... He came back. But I think Kojima really wants to move on which leads to my sepeculation why Kojima would want Snake dead at the end of MGS4. That way, the fans can have closure of the entire series. Thomas-Crown

There will be an MGS5. Kojima won't be directing, he'll just be a producer. And Solid Snake will be gone. Originally Kojima was going to have Solid Snake and Otacon turn themselves in, and then be executed. That was the original ending, but his office and employees were outraged. So he changed the ending. Snake still dies though, lol.

I agree with you its a great game but I wish it followed more along a truthful stance. A lot in metal gear solid could be seen as things being possibly done in real life military other then Raven. Telekaneses is even used in our army today as a future tool.LORDDICE1

You my friend have been playing too much Psi-ops. TK (AKA Psychokinesis) is controversial. Bending spoons won't help on the battlefield. And as MGS2 demonstrates, neither will nuclear tanks. It's about information control. MGS2 takes place in 2009. If we were ever to have mechanical dinosaur-like robots, it sure as hell won't be in 2009.

My favorite Metal Gear would have to be Metal Gear Solid for the PS1. Sure it was a little out there with Psycho Mantis, but it was still somewhat believable. Now with Vampires, Crazed Astronaughts, a man made out of Bee's, Liquid taking over Ocelots body, etc it just seems the game is so far fetched. Don't get me wrong I've played through all of um and loved them all but come on hideo lets make it believable. Metal Gear Solid was great because of the Story and then the controls were ok. Now the controls continue to improve and sadly thats what I enjoy more then the story. What do you guys think?

MGS has an amazing story, I don't know what you're talking about. As for MGS1 not being out there.... We have Psycho Mantis, a man who exhibits various forms of mind control and Psychokinesis and mind control, we have Decoy Octopus, a man who can change his entire body, all the way down to the molecular level, to imitate someone else, and we have Vulcan Raven; a man who carries a 248 pound gattling gun and has the power to control birds.

Oh and lets not forget a biomechanical ninja, that has the superhuman strength to physically push a super-heavy mecha.

Speaking of mecha, you do know what REX is right? It's a mecha. Like Zone of the Enders and Gundam.

Metal Gear has always been out there. But its the best damn videogame series in the world:D
